Leicestershire Wooden Spoon held its 4th successive event at the open air theatre, (designed by our chairman, Malc Foulkes-Arnold) on a warm balmy evening. Over sixty Spoon supporters were entertained in the Staging Post pre-theatre with a buffet, and after being enthralled with the production of Guys and Dolls, gathered for the results of the raffle. The proceeds from the raffle and the tickets for the theatre made it an enjoyable and profitable event.

The Leicestershire committee was formed by volunteers at DeMontfort Sporting Club Dinner in Leicestershire in September 2000, after the question, "why don't you have a Wooden Spoon Committee in Leicestershire, the rugby capital?" was raised by Tony Richards, the Regional Co-ordinator of Spoon. So here we are. Please get in touch if you want to know more about the Committee or the fundraising events we are running.
