They went to Faversham to meet the staff and pupils and to see the Soft Play area that had been installed with funds from Kent Wooden Spoon. The School is a mixed Mainstream Primary School but in each class there are pupils with learning or physical disabilities for whom the Soft Play Area has proved extremely beneficial since it gives them confidence to join in the normal children's activities without the fear of hurting themselves.

The Headteacher Mrs. Samantha Fenn gave her visitors a comprehensive talk on the ethos of the School and how grateful they were to Wooden Spoon for the funding. After watching the pupils using the play area they were treated to a display of " Wake Up and Shake Up' which takes place every day and is the  School's way of tarting their day. As can be seen from the photo the pupils perform a synchronised dance routine which proved so uplifting that the TNT Staff enthusiastically joined in. This was a really enjoyable visit thoroughly enjoyed by staff, pupils and the visitors who were able to see where and how Wooden
Spoon use the funds they help to raise.
